The 2015 Super Bowl Halftime Show featured Katy Perry, Lenny Kravitz, and Missy Elliott. Perry took the stage at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona as the halftime headliner for Super Bowl XLIX during the game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. It was both visually stunning and, at times, whimsical. Watch the FULL VIDEO below!

The pop star kicked off her epic performance with “Roar.” She also sang other hits including “Dark Horse, “Teenage Dream,” “California Gurls,” and closed with “Firework.” Kravitz came out and played “I Kissed A Girl” with Perry, while Elliott rapped “Get Ur Freak On” and “Work It.” Incredibly, Perry also did a number of costume changes.

Perry was first reported to be the halftime show performer last October, though it wasn’t confirmed until late November. In the weeks since then, the star has been teasing her performance through promos, interviews, and social media. At the Super Bowl press conference a few days ago, Perry promised her show would be “wild,” but also have some “lightheartedness.” And she delivered on both fronts.

Hours before the big game, Perry took to Twitter to share an old photo of herself as a child. “Today is for this girl. She had the dream, always believed in herself & her worth. Today she is the one smiling,” she captioned the picture. Perry now joins an exclusive group of A-list stars to perform at the Super Bowl, including Bruno Mars, BeyoncĂ©, and Madonna. Check out the FULL PERFORMANCE VIDEO below, and tell us how you think she did.
